Beaumaris lifeboat crew tows speedboat in the Swellies

BEAUMARIS lifeboat crew towed to safety a speedboat which yesterday broke down in the Swellies on the Menai Strait. Holyhead Coastguard received a call shortly after 3.10pm that the vessel was in trouble.

Beaumaris to forecast the future


"A local resident of Beaumaris has made a generous donation to the Lifeboat Station recently. Nigel Warburton who many of the town will recognise from the Bulkeley Hotel has always been a keen supporter of the RNLI and the stations activities and decided to donate the sum of £500 to the station.."

Hairy Bikers roll into Beaumaris

"..the bikers and their production team roared into Beaumaris to cook up another dish at the local lifeboat station. The lifeboat was all but launched to make room for the show's field kitchen as the bikers went to work.

Bumper Easter as sunshine brings crowds to North Wales
